"How could you rise anew if you have become ashes?"
- Friedrich Nietzsche
There's nothing wrong in being needy or vulnerable. One needs a lot of strength to own up that feeling to someone else. The dilemma, the anticipation, the fear, the longing - what becomes of the needy human mind is nothing short of a glorified yet a gigantic mess of emotions.
People who have experienced insane amounts of pain tend to escape from it, whether it is right or wrong is another question. Some end their lives and some close their hearts for a very long time till they become tired of who they have become. Some engage themselves in various other things. Basically everyone gives in to the consequences.
And yet there are some who simply excel at what they do. Excellence and the yearn for perfection wash away the several effects of pain. But deep down scars remain. But the funny thing is at some point boredom and tiredness converge, and this paves the way for courage - the courage needed to accept one's own weaknesses and then move on.
In the end, the phoenix always rises.
