Consumption

Well, we all know what consumption means. The first thing that comes to your mind is eating something when you hear consumption. No, you are not gonna read about what a glutton that I am.

You consume a lot of things every single day. Take a step back and think what consumes you and what had consumed you. In my case, the list is probably endless. If you had really hard times, then you’d probably know by now that nothing consumes you until and unless it becomes visceral; it seeps inside your thick skin.

It’s normal human tendency to see the faults first and possibly not see the fruits at all: the fundamental disadvantage of being consumed is frequent clouding of judgement. There a number of things which may consume you and adversely affect you in the long run. Judgementalism, haste, hatred, love, loneliness, pride, terror, etc. are, in fact, in this case, consumers and you are very much like a sachet of detergent (just a figure of speech). Now there’s a specific reason why I categorically included love in this list – it is by far the most atrocious motivator known to man.

Consequences of Sleep Deprivation: A Tryst with Reality

I've been deprived of sleep for the last few days. And when I lay there on my bed staring at the ceiling a flurry of emotions rages through my mind. It’s funny that we created another entity in the brain – the heart. But understand this, it is the brain that brings forth all problems and when the time comes it brings forth the solutions as well (not always, though).

Loss creates a void inside the brain: all those emotions, memories and other good things become, in a way, rather intangible. Only the lessons remain. There’s always a fire within ourselves. Loss invigorates it and turns it into a conflagration which eventually burns you. Sometimes it is destructive and sometimes it is far more beautiful than the best dream you've ever had.

Utopia is like the ideal gas – it does not exist, unless you’re dead. You think what you love to think. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. It all directs to the false state of utopia inside your brain.
