Well, we all know what consumption means. The first thing
that comes to your mind is eating something when you hear consumption. No, you
are not gonna read about what a glutton that I am.
You consume a lot of things every single day. Take a step
back and think what consumes you and what had consumed you. In my case, the
list is probably endless. If you had really hard times, then you’d probably
know by now that nothing consumes you until and unless it becomes visceral; it
seeps inside your thick skin.
It’s normal human tendency to see the faults first and
possibly not see the fruits at all: the fundamental disadvantage of being consumed is
frequent clouding of judgement. There a number of things which may consume you
and adversely affect you in the long run. Judgementalism, haste, hatred, love, loneliness,
pride, terror, etc. are, in fact, in this case, consumers and you are very much
like a sachet of detergent (just a figure of speech). Now there’s a specific
reason why I categorically included love in this list – it is by far the most atrocious
motivator known to man.
